Cozy-nebula began in 2014 with a simple observation: most visitors to London see only what the crowds see. They queue at the same attractions, photograph the same angles, and leave without ever discovering the extraordinary stories hidden in plain sight.

Our founder, after two decades as a historian specialising in Georgian and Victorian London, decided to share the city through a different lens. Not the London of postcards, but the London of cobblestone lanes where Samuel Johnson once argued, of hidden gardens where suffragettes planned their campaigns, of basement bars that served as wartime shelters.

Today, our team of fifteen guides carries forward that same philosophy. Each brings their own expertise—architecture, culinary traditions, literary history, social movements—but all share an unshakeable belief that walking through a place with understanding transforms it entirely.

Our Approach to Guiding

We do not follow scripts. Every tour adapts to the interests, questions, and pace of its participants. When someone asks why a particular street curves unexpectedly, we stop and explain the medieval property boundary that still shapes the road.
